Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
ok , i tested the graids on an npc... and i was maxed 1s and 2s with a pretty nice dom say 2 mil
going after a 9 mil dom
and man i was massacred.... scum vs Graid is way strong, i mean like to strong, in massacre yes i would say it needs to be stronger , but not that much stronger....even here
after the 3rd massacre i stopped reforted normal O and poped it with a mob, soooooo yea, we may need to look at that i would think.....

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
Thanks Kaz
i agree for the longrun thats good... it sucked starting with like 3900 turns sometimes
I'm not so sure how the graid thing works Shred, but with drobens with massive land it seems to be very effective
I'll have to do some lower level tests eventually.
Only other suggestion i posted in the NPC thread... take NPCs off the scores list.

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
Should we change the downhit declare percentage from 90% to 80% ??
Programming is 10% science, 25% ingenuity and 65% getting the ingenuity to work with the science

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
I dunno about that, a 10% difference isn't really all that much and most of the time its what the smaller kingdom needs to have a chance, I say leave it alone.

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
Yea i dont think the 10% differnce would change anything.
So far if you wanna get someone lower you can be sneaky and lower yourself when they arent paying attention (cough Nether cough) or wait for them to take their hit at you
Plus you always can loot them to nothing
damn annoying bastages

No I think its fine how it is. Makes you plan your attacks more, and gives the smaller kingdoms a chance to do some thing.Kaz wrote:Should we change the downhit declare percentage from 90% to 80% ??
Don't know if its doable but maybe make it coast more turns to take scum actions on lower kingdoms if not at war with them. That way the big kingdoms would have to think twice before doing things to try to keep the smaller ones from attacking them.

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
Don't know how others feel about this, but maybe increase the build rate more when we have a bigger kingdom. That way if we don't have a target to hit we could build a little and not use all our turns trying to do it. Just a thought

I'd actually been thinking about this one. In a game that basically promotes getting your kingdom huge then sitting and waiting to die, it can be frustrating to have a build rate of... 4.Zeblamar wrote:Don't know how others feel about this, but maybe increase the build rate more when we have a bigger kingdom. It'd have to scale with kingdom size though, as I don't think we want smaller kingdoms build rate to increase. That would actually only worsen the matter, as small kingdoms would become big quicker, which would have a horrible domino effect of making -all- the kingdoms bigger, thereby creating the same problem, with bigger numbers.
Hmmm

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
Maybe have the increased build rate kick in some ware around 500k land. Any kingdom smaller then that usually doesn't last to long

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
I think that may be beneficial.. maybe just take the lowest build rate away from 4 to 8
Also...i was trying to figure out the rate that we steal buildings while attacking?
seems realy low.. i must have destroyed at least 400,000 buildings and gained umm lets say 8,000 if that.
I like being able to steal buildings (especially temples) while attacking.. and i gained liek 500 temples my entire time.. including hitting Nether who had 90,000 and i barely got any
Just a suggestion i'd like to see..maybe double what it is now.. wasn't paying as close to other buildings as i was temples. Next time i will.

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
Also there is finally a time when offering 99,999,999 isn't enough
maybe add another point where you can offer 999,999,999 ... somewhere around fricking huge... liek 50mil income.
Cause dumping cash is hard without offering
did 200,000,000,000 so far and took waaaaaay too long and my fingers hurt from hitting back button.

Thats an easy fix. Drop all your troops, hire them back, and then train them again. Do this multiple times and will eat up your cash.Mickal Redwater wrote:Cause dumping cash is hard without offeringdid 200,000,000,000 so far and took waaaaaay too long and my fingers hurt from hitting back button.
I promise we won't hit you as you do this

Tithe is tied to your income.Mickal Redwater wrote:Also there is finally a time when offering 99,999,999 isn't enough

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
I did kaz.
you can tithe 99,999 up til income 10,000
999,999 up to income 100,000
9,999,999 up to income 1,000,000
99,999,999 after that.. and even at 10,000,000 income, it stops.
maybe go up one more.. so after 10,000,000 you an tithe 999,999,999
that should make dumping 100bil cash only 100 clicks and not 1000... big difference.

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
I've not looked into it deeply, not a part of the code ive ever really had need to change.
It might be that there is a max programmed in.

Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
Cap on how much you can tithe may be (imo) completely unnecessary depending on how hard it is to change the code.
My doom has come upon me; let me not then die ingloriously and without a struggle, but let me first do some great thing that shall be told among men hereafter.
Re: Game Questions and Suggestions
Bumped it up a couple of notches.
If people are still hitting a cap that matters, then I think we have other issues to examine.
