COD 2 was just amazing when it came out, and i still play it alomost every day,

COD 4 MW was great also great, but this 1 looks to be the best of the lot, CTF is back...

the tryarch versions are clearly not as good as infinity wards , some of my friends are already playing on bootlegs , 2 of my friends were playing MW2 today...i was like mann you bastards lol

holy crap lol

Haven't been a gamer for years (remember being amazed at FF & most recently remember watching buddies playing call of duty (orig) in '04, '05 or so on a bigscreen)... but talk about progress: that's life-like or like a movie...

Wonder if these are just animation 'asides' or if the game play actually looks like this

oh yea , thats what it looks like, and the gameplay will be what you saw,

and thats not even the real fun, the real fun is the multiplayer , talk about intense gameplay....they have trailers for that also....

some of that trailer is definitely movie, rather than in game play.

Ironically, I had never played Call of Duty of any sort until School of Infantry.

We played the hell out of Modern War during our Liberty in the rec room, you've never seen it played until you have a bunch of Marines high on Monster Energy drinks and testosterone killing each other on screen and beating each other up off screen.

That's how I knew my training paid off!

"Frag out!"

yea they had to have Military advisors creating this game, and weapons specialist , from what i hear from from the service guys i know , say the weapons are dead on, even down to range and accuracy ....

and maybe some of that was cut scenes , but I could tell most of it was in game play for the story mode ....

i hear i has 2 story modes, 1 being SAS and Marines
the other the Terriost story mode, which the White House is not very happy about, esp considering IW and ESPN showed the white house in flames on monday night football last week ....

8 days 8 hrs and it will be on lol....

have they gone back on their decision to not have dedicated server support for it yet?

Modern Warefare I was pretty cool. Still occasionally play the multiplayer, even though I think the only proper modes there are the Hardcore modes. I dislike having to shoot someone thrice before they finally die. :P

That, and having no HUD and radar rules. :D

Huds and radar are for newbs and weak gamers.

Well they are, in fact, quite useful. It's just more fun not having them. :)

yeah but they're usefulness cheapens the game play its much less challenging with the hud and radar.
You can hear which direction someone is coming from or shooting from in the game the hud just teaches people to rely on something other then themselves which is a poor lesson no matter what the reason.

True, that. I don't like staring at the radar all the time myself. The UAV jammer perk is useful to fend of the radar freaks though.

this i am not sure about, i do know we are getting server disruptions on MW 1 , soooooooo maybe they are transferring servers to handle the load.....

and yea i mainly play hc snd , but i have been playing more reg game modes , in case CTF is not hc.....

actually COD 2 has the best health generators , bolt actions , Lee Enfield, Kar98k mosin nagat all 1 shot 1 kill in upper body, Clean head shots with any weapon including pistols kill you ,

with MW 1 , reg mode you have to put to many bullets in them , and HC you get shot in the finger and you die.... sooooooo yea , i like the heath meters on COD 2 much better, and is a big reason why you will see me still to this day playing COD 2

Its kinda weird why it bothers me, i gave up on PC fps'ing long ago....although its the way forward, tis cheaper to just do it on a console :)

You need a mouse to play an FPS, ffs! Or a gun. Good ole Nintendo Duck Hunt.

*gets his NES from under inches of dust*

I totally agree, you do need a mouse to play. But constantly upgrading my gfx card...meh, fuck that shit. I'll keep to using my one xbox for 3 or 4 years :) CoD:MW was excellent on the 360, so im happy in any case
