The inevitable denouement (Gold and Red versus Blue)

Post by Stee Jans » Tue Jul 23, 2013 10:27 pm

Stats seem somewhat pointless, given that this was the only real option and the outcome remains all but certain. POO and TFC have struck Angelique, mainly to provide at least a little sport to end another blue-bathed age. We have no delusions about defeating you, but it seemed silly to not at least take a swing or two.

At least we will succeed in removing 20% of Aero's land. Huzzah.

It only remains to declare that after this there is little reason to continue the age and hopefully reset will be mercifully upon us.

I preferred my title - " A Blue Rinse" - but oh well that will teach me to be late to the party. ;)

Let the games begin and people have a good time and play nice.

Very nice timing, I think most of our big kingdoms used their turns a little before you started this war by the looks of the scroll last night.

That will save you from being instantly destroyed at least :)

Very brave and good luck.

("more ooc" but whatever)
Holy ... I mean just ... I am at a loss right now seriously you guys.

I'll get my lil "war post" up in a sec & maybe this will end up getting branched off & prolly should be, but so umm ... Forts don't count against yer troops cap now?

What the muthafu ...WHAT!?!?!

Why? Since when? And just ... why?

My offense to break should be FREE TOO. Bullshit.
No idea how it never occurred to me that was the problem. Guess I'm paying a little more attention to the game again. If there was a problem sometime with forts being too strong, ok, but they shouldn't be free either; or have I been misinformed?

Glares at the top Blues. You guys would NOT be there right now if those forts counted on yer troop cap. Period.

Oh an' that's not "whining" either so don't even pull that shit with me none'a yas ;p It's purely disappointment in game mechanics. Otherwise, WAR ON as usual. I'll just get more stuff. Or you can do yer thing or the reset happens. =)

*Thanks BL for talking her back from crazy ledge*
And if it all really does work out mechanics wise that's cool too, I'll adjust ;p

Forts might not count towards troop caps, but they count towards your expenses on an increasingly expensive curve the more you hire.

Offence is most definitely still far superior to defence. My kingdoms were fully forted with 100% defensive troops and Janiec could still march through with just a single CS to test the water. Admittedly he did have 25k acres on me.

It's nice to finally be properly smacked down on both kingdoms :)

Don't hate on the man for knowing how to spell properly! Besides, you could have at least kept if faith themed and used the appropriate colour!

After he took a bunch more acres first, he downsized all his open acres. He'll be fine :)

New fangled?? I think you'll find we were writing in English, before you lot rebelled and decided that it was too hard to spell certain words.

It's pretty simple, here's a starter for you to practise with : offence, offensive, defence, defensive, colour, honour, favourite.

Not that it matters, but I just accidently booted one of Lief's kingdoms from the guild. Damnit. I was in the process of booting Dreck as he hasn't played his kingdoms ....... ever ...... and I hit the wrong one. Sorry Lief.

;-) So we are actually 6 kingdoms.
