...as for disappointment, here I can sympathize with you. Had your guild collectively hit both Barnie guilds we probably would have called it a bad hit. If we hit up together it would be called a bad hit by NIR. Had TRR hit alone...it would have been a massacre. You could say there was other options, but why in the world would anyone in their right mind give two ~60k doms another week to build all the while trading blows with the other faith, when you were, the top target? To me the answer was simple...hit NIR, keep the war balanced. And as for my charter...you will note that during this war...I will not take 1 acre from your realm by war. I might sorc, I might scum...but I don't see my archers charging into oblivion anytime soon.

Bundes, I assume the strategic remark was made when you thought it was just TSP...I would eagerly concur with that assessment.

I apologize, I was getting ready to post the war thread, then you guys hit and posted and the war chat crapped out and I spent the last 15 minutes trying to get us somewhere else.

Its not the hit you guys gave us and I am sorry. I thought we would be dropping one of our guys who hasn't been showing to anything who then showed so you would have the advantages and we would have 2 member advantage. Instead he showed up, decided to do what he wanted and clean up someone we started on without talking to anyone so were even and have a 4 + numbers advantage.

We thought we would be up against you guys all being online and you were. The stats are as follows with everyone included. I can admit we wouldn't have been able to do it without working with TSP. Your top kingdoms were to big.

TSP - Total Land - 84,587 - Members 3 - Average - 28,143

Yes, I take full responsibility for the attack, I am the GM of my guild. And if you wanted me to be the bad guy, yes I am the bad guy (personally, I am not convinced and slept like a baby last night) and you are the new owner of a swamp. Your perception though, is your reality. As for giving you my money, not sure what that is about I tithed 400 mil from your guild to get rid of it, trust me when I say, Barnabas is taking good care of it for you.

On a larger forest instead of tree type note, I found quite a few players online, eager to test themselves, and defend their precious doms to the end and then ...no new votes on MPOGD. I will keep encouraging...but it takes a couple mouse clicks and a sprinkling of will by people other than me to make it a reality...

Eyes closed, breathing in. And out slowly, so slowly, her breath smoking on the frigid, crisp air. It was the only motion she made, the slow rhythmic movement of breathing. Unsurprising, as her mind quested out of the astral realm that overlayed what the barbarians of the current world called reality.

That unfathomable inward-looking gaze saw everything, or very nearly everything as it swung west and east, north and south. It pierced through the clouds, passed through stone bulwarks that held armies resplendent in gleaming armor, the tips of raised weapons gleaming in the dawns light like the sun glittering on the ocean. It watched with decidedly rueful amusement as rites were preformed by the impure, the inferior races of Tonan as it now existed, thousands if not tens of thousands of years since the fall of the greater societies.

Seska had not been young even then, even when the Great Councils still ruled the land, even when chivalry and culture abounded on all sides. The world had been in slow decline for more years than she could count, and continued to slowly spiral toward oblivion even still. She had heard it said before - the world had moved on, and it had left so very much of itself behind in the dry dust. So much detritus lying forgotten in the ditch beside and overgrown Great Road.

She felt mighty, so very mighty and powerful compared to the children that ran amok upon the world in these later days. It was not the foolish, ignorant mindset that thought her beyond the stabbing blades or infantile sorcery that burned in these younglings blood and hands - that was the fall of so many of her kind before her, and many others beside that. Still, she had to chuckle - inwardly, never outwardly - at the power she held in her hands. She could lay waste to the shattered husks that these children called kingdoms, and do it by herself. They required the false temples to their dead gods and goddesses - once I followed the Red, but ever before that the White - to focus their power, and even their power alone was insignificant compared to the tidal forces she could bring to bare.

But she didn't.

She took one deep, clarifying breath and then released it even more slowly, eyes the color of polished amethyst blinking wearily as she did. Her mind returned to her flesh, ancient and abused though that might be.

She looked around at the inner sanctum of her stronghold. Here was a place that none could enter without her leave, a domain that would suffer the touch of the infidel no better than a vampire could suffer the touch of a truly sanctified weapon. Windows stood open to the four corners of the compass, and though they held no glass, no draught passed them. The view was nearly identical regardless of which window was chosen - towering peaks of stone, crowned and capped in ice and blowing snow where they were not entirely wreathed in clouds. Most of them were on a level with this solitary chamber high above the world, and many were lower, far lower. A high altitude sun cast bright patches of light on the polished granite floor of her aerie, a chamber fifty feet in diameter and perfectly round, apparently hewn from the living stone of the mountain peak in which it resided. A four poster bed, neatly made and for the most part untouched and forgotten stood between the north and west windows. And between every other window stood two doors - six in total.

She eyed these. They were made of ironwood and oak, ash and pine. She doubted there was a Bunar in the world that could break them down, and in any case if any actually tried and succeeded...well. They would be in for a potentially unpleasant surprise.

She walked to the door on the left of the southerly window. It was made of oak, polished with beeswax until it glowed with a faint light. Or perhaps it wasn't the polishing that made it glow so. Perhaps it was something else. She laid a pale hand no larger than a childs' upon it - she herself was barely four feet tall, with hair the color of truesilver that hung unbound to her waist, a dress of stout wool in the palest of blue and finely fitted around her diminutive frame. She could be taken for a child at a passing glance, but a good look would prove that she had the roundness in the right places fo a woman full-blown and in the bloom of health and youth.

She would have laughed at the notion, presented to her. She was timeless, and lived outside the Serpents endless grinding.

She gained a sense from that contact, as if the door was somehow connected to someplace else, out in the world. It was, in its own way. It touched the edge of the only true place of worship for the Art outside this modest little spire, high in the mountains. But it was not the Art with which these brigands thought to worship. That subtle power had nearly left the world entirely, its surviving adherents scattered and either in hiding or else apathetic to the world and its ways.

It was the Templerates she touched, though if any could sense such a touching she would be ultimately surprised. These heretics that had forgotten Olander - she laughed quietly to herself as she thought this, forgotten indeed! - had forgotten many other things. Many other things.

A thought arrived in her head, and it was not her own. Pray that thee shalt give thine humblest servant direction, Great One? A pale and slim finger rose and tapped her lips thoughtfully as she sought a response to give the Chancellor, who was in fact the most humble of servants - a creation born of magic. Her magic. It suited her purpose to remain unknown to the world, for there were those among the thrice-damned isles that would suffer any manner of trial to lay hands uon a true-blooded Sidhe, so rare had she and her kindred become. The things that ran such affairs in the world of men - such affairs she deigned to be involved in, in any case - was a construct of flesh and magic, melded in such a way that none could know. And why would any care? Look at some of the barbarians that called themselves rulers in these dark, darkening days.

Salt the earth and raze what cannot be spoiled. And then wait. The children of this day and age are aught else than fools. They will leave themselves in a prime position to do something else. In truth, she didn't know why she bothered. She didn't care about the gods, old or new - since the earlier days, she had not.

She laid a cool hand on an oak door, and thought. She did, however, care about the Valley and the blasphemy that did not quite add up to the Art. But then, she doubted that they of the grove could understand that much, in these distant days. The glory was gone, and forgotten by most.

I should go forth, and cleanse it all.

Only apathy stayed that vengeful hand. Apathy, and naught else.
