Yeah, we weren't ready for this. We just came out of a losing war, and didn't really have any defenses up. Good timing, vaulting off of us.
I was curious about the other #s. We had 3 kingdoms come out of restore hours before you attacked, 1 was still in restore, and you didn't bother posting the acres/built stats. As you said yourself, networth can easily be flexed. Where did we stand in acres/built vs you?

Unpopular? Its bullshit lol

I am done for this age, will resume play next age.

Congrats on a second age win via crap :). Maybe when you learn how to play you can make a real win~

I didn't post all the stats cause I'm too lazy to add up your one in restore and tsp's land and anw

maybe kaz can just put everyone on no matter the guild size

this is the war notes if you really care

NITEN ICHIRYU RONIN Land: 233,701 29,213
#2 NIR Built: 193,655 24,207
8 / 9 Members Networth: 5,154,993 644,374

424824 NIRs restore kingdom

2046080 tsp's total networt

7625897

SILVER UNDERWEAR CAN WORK Land: 283,247 28,325
#1 SUCK Built: 274,486 27,449
10 / 10 Members Networth: 7,180,247 718,025

like I said not a popular war, but other than the fact you just got out of war, numbers work out

Status:

What this looks like -- My guild got in exactly one build cycle between peace and war...this reminds me of more golden times (TGH vs. ISA). TGH would fight off some great attack or conduct an impressive up hit only to be attacked by Dysh within 24-36 hours of peace.

Great Hit? -- As far as "fair fight" is concerned, there is no honor in this hit. I know you slept like a baby last night, but I highly doubt the chance of a real//any counter attack concerned you. That said, there was a much better option for you, and clearly, a great up hit available, which you chose not to try. SUCK vs. NIR/TRR. I am not trying to call heathens down on my faith mate Carlos, but I want to point out that had you had a full turnout, you could have easily taken the top eight kingdoms, and then looted and burnt everyone else's temples silly...setting up an epic up hit that everyone here would have applauded. Even with realms in restore no one would have complained. And I would not have interfered.

Timing and Actual Warring -- As far as a War is concerned, I give you grade of A-. Your goal of imposing your will upon your enemies was superb, but there are chinks in your guild's proverbial armor...and I will fight you tooth and nail...this will not end quickly. I actually (no joke aside) applaud the day and time you chose to conduct your strike. That was an impressive move, the time being at dinner (that's where I was anyways) and on a holiday where most people are tied up really helped to ensure an unopposed First Strike, which is what any GM wants when conducting operations. I think you took complete advantage of our (TET Holiday so to speak) and caught us all with our pants down. I also have no qualm with you hitting a guild with realms in restore. I think too many players think that restore is the quick fix...perhaps GMs will reconsider the consequences of not having everyone available for a defensive struggle...when putting dudes in restore...although in this case, I would have ordered the same as NIR did...their guild was flatter than any major airport I've seen in a while.

Personal -- Fire, as for you...here is my reply...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Prc1UfuokY Enjoy

Plea -- Now, to Seska. Seska, your team mates need you right now. Please come support them. I implore you to reconsider your decision to walk away for the remainder of the age...your leadership and tactical ability are too important.

Allies -- Aero, guess your stuck with me...a bunch of pesky elves :P

Why did you think I'd throw in the towel, Nymph? I know what fire has done and have a pretty good idea what their methodology is going to be for the remainder of this war/age - between our two guilds we can drop a few of them but that'll be about it.

I have little doubt that as soon as they feel comfortable in their victory against us, as in they have taken the losses they are going to - they will crush TRR and seal the age.

I have no desire to sit here and flail against a clear victory - not just the war but the age. She will be over in a week or two with this hit so I will just wait until it resets.

I will not, however, ever speak against hitting his guild again. That was a mistake this last week and one I will not make again.

I think that a guild having some kingdoms in restore when hit isn't entirely bad - It means some kingdoms guaranteed untouched and ready to roll on a counter strike. We've all seen what sorc and scum options can do this age if nothing else, we've certainly felt the weight of flat lands by times.

I don't see the need to dredge up new feelings of frustration by bringing up frustrations of old. We are not Dysh, we are not old guilds, old rivalries or old grudges. We are a different guild in a different game, and frankly, playing the game as it exists now.

Strategically from your point this hit sucks. Strategically from our point this hit was our most effective option given all the variables in play.

And to say that everyone would have applauded that style of hit (TRR/NIR vs SUCK)is silly. We did it what, two ages ago? And people shit their pants.

No one is ever happy to get hit, period.

As for the timing of the strike, I can tell you the time of day was specifically because in our last couple of initial strikes we've been at least partially foiled by people being online at the time. We wanted to avoid that again, because lets face it - having people on and defending at the time of a strike is a serious momentum killer.

There was no "lets be devious and hit at supper time on Valentine's Day because no one will be online" conversation, at all. It was flat out the alternate time of day that we were able to gather based on our personal schedules. In fact, we decided to try a new strike time during our last war when we kept running into a significant defense every time we tried to make an offensive move.

and I didn't really expect our other four to stay up even that late to make a strike do to where they live, but it was a really nice surprise. considering I don't feel the need to turn anyone away from the game whether it weakens our strike or not if they cannot show up to strikes

Heathen math is hard to compute. I am surprised we dragged down as many as we did...
