I would like to complain that the wayback machine links do not seem to be working. I was hoping to relive some of my youthful glory by browsing them. *Harumph*
Instead I will patiently wait for the par-tay to start here. I refuse to acknowledge my advanced age, and would prefer to believe I am still 16-18, depending on my mood of course. ;)

They changed the back-end :(

Most of the links do still work though.

The ones that don't work are usually links to pages that had multiple copies in the archive. If you replace the *hh_ in the url with just * on it's own, the link out to start working.

If you've not left New Player Protection, you could click on the Load/Save icon (looks like an open book with some arrows). From there you could either load a save with 0 turns spent (basically a reset), or load a save that's been saved publicly.

Wow it's been a long time. I don't even really know how or why I happened to head to the old evernight.com site...I stayed and read over some of my old posts (the ones I could find anyway), found my old icon ( :D ), tried to find a couple old guilds (I found many recognizable names but not the couple I wish I could find).

Man, so many memories sitting in war chats, role playing, asking millions of IT related questions. I can't believe after the 10+ years since I started this game it's still around. Maybe I'll start up a new kingdom soon and really come back. For now, I just wanted to see some old familiar names. ;)

How is everyone doing? Are there still some people poking in here from time to time?

Hello, how is the old place doing... I check it out off and on, but don't see a lot of action. I made a kingdom a few weeks ago, but haven't had the time to really play, I keep trying to get back to this... maybe eventually. I hope everyone is doing well.

If any of you old timers are still about, long time no see. :)

I remember QED! :D ...i think we got beat up by you guys if my memory serves me right. I (along with my brother and cousin) ran the modest WB Warclan (i think we were the first leto guild to reach 100 members - barnabas was first though). Its a long time ago...and i was 14 years old back then haha

Why arent your guild (neither wBw or TTA )in the "Evernight Guild Archive"?
Anyone knows if Dysh (Immortal Sacred Alliance) still play?

Welcome Back.

Dysh is registered but hasn't been seen around these parts for about 3 years. Hopefully he'll wonder back here in the future.

The Evernight Guild Archive is something I put together from the database of guilds that existed when we closed down Evernight Games.

Anything from the first phase of Monarchy at Evernight, or the Shareplay days has been long lost. I assume it may have made it's way to Shareplay, but when Evernight reformed post-shareplay (2001) it was with a whole new game. I doubt that anyone has any database backups from all the way back then.

The archive contains any guild that was created after the data loss of November 2002. Anything prior to then is lost to time, occasionally being found via the wayback machine. Most wayback machine backups of the guild rankings prior to the data loss (including shareplay days) link to an error page. Evidently there was a long-term issue with viewing the guild charters from a guest/public point of view :(

Alas, if it's not in the backup, I personally don't have a copy and I doubt anyone else does. Unless of course they 'wrote' the charter in the first place, and have it in a word file on their hard drive.

Had many late nights with 'Inverness' 'LKA' and 'Orb' that I do remember, but those days players used to be a lot more active, I suppose with time and age comes RL work and stuff, and the pub :D

But it's good to see im not the only old duffer still here haha, i'm guessing that!?

On the age note: LKA was founded by "Meldrin the Lost" in 1990 (Think that's right or there abouts) that makes LKA 23 now, and probably older than some players ... haha

So were LKA playing something else prior to the birth of Monarchy in 1997?
