Can someone explain what turns absorbed is all about?!?!

When I created the Massacre style of game, ending the age as KIng/Queen no longer served as a decent ranking object. Basically it just meant you were the last active player before the reset.
I added a load of extra ways to rank a kingdoms, points, deaths, bravery etc. One of them counts how many turns have been spent by enemy kingdoms when attacking you. In Massacre it works as a calculation of how strong defences you can make. In Classic it more shows how much of a target you've been.

Programming is 10% science, 25% ingenuity and 65% getting the ingenuity to work with the science

Ah cool - well one of my kingdoms is rapidly moving up the rankings on that basis in domination....

When it takes 25 turns per hit to punish you, yeah, you rack 'em up quick.
