Post The Cities of Reavers (Reavers RP - closed)
North, West, South and East you can see the lands of Reavers. It is so wide that until the horizon still the lands of Reavers and the lands of Foret. The rulers of the Reavers land are still working on their open lands and building some of the city inside the city.

Liches look around in his castle and asking his people how they are doing. The townsfolk said they were okay and doing great. The city was so peaceful and there is no report from the shadows or from the war advisors.

Liches thank Foret for the peace in his lands, it wont be long after their next invasion from the others but until then they'll still enjoy the peaceful city and the good breeze of air.

Bragtuan forest was older than anyone that Syle know, or anyone that Syle had ever known. It was rumored in the outlying villages that Bragtuan forest was as old as Maxim itself. Syle knew better, since any forest so large would surely have been destroyed in the first wars of the God.

It stretched from the Fog Mountains in the West to the Andril river in the east, a large expanse of dense forest populated by small farming villages and individual farms throughout. It was not a large forest – there were many forests in Maxim that were several times larger, but it was large enough to make a kingdom.

The villages and farms throughout the forest all paid small tribute to Syle, and in return he used his armies and spies as best he could to protect them. He was helped in this task by the relative obscurity of the forest - they were often overlooked in guild wars; the enemies of Forest choosing more fertile land or more defensive positions to throw their might against first.

None in the forest were rich, including Syle himself, and none sought more for themselves than they already had. They were a simple people that would prefer to be left alone, but not so simple that they realized that was even remotely possible in this day and age in Maxim.

It had been several months ago that the Reavers had conquered the land between the mountains and river, including Bragtuan. The people of Bragtuan had sworn allegiance to the Reavers, and in return had received the protection of the guild. Now Syle found himself with much more to worry about than just the simple concerns of Bragtuan residents – but the protection was worth it.

Reaver banners and flags now flew from the battlements of Fergaun, Syle’s fortress in the west of the forest. It was nestled right against the foot of the Fog Mountains, leaving the east the only way to access it. It was here that the Council met and made policy for the small kingdom, and it was here that Syle and his staff lived. In times of trouble, the fortress could hold a good number of the forest residents, so many rooms were available in the levels below ground, always stocked with food and wine for such an occasion.

It had been a while since war had come to Bragtuan, which meant that they could expect it any minute. War never let anyone sleep in Maxim.

Duke Buford, Mad Captain of a sizable realm, stood in one of his hometown's market squares. Business throve. People walked about, a few of which recognized their lord. Buford was troubled, and found his way to a temple of Foret. The realm had been invaded by hostile scouts, hundreds of loyal thieves were dead, and some small amount of money was missing from the treasury. It felt like war was coming. At least the land was prepared, filled with forts, warriors, and citizens, and the priests of Foret had spoken of having stockpiled enough elan to wage sorcerous warfare whenever necessary. And the peasants... well, there were many many peasants. More thieves would have to be hired to protect them. Buford stayed in that temple for most of the day, meditating and praying.

Loco stood again as the bright shine flashed in his face and looking to a nrew kingdom built and was reminded of the war he fought. Loco looked around him as peasant were busy building the new kingdom and men training themselves.

Loco walked in the city walls as people greeting him as he walks. Loco seemed to notice that they were kinda like the new kingdom as of the first. Loco made it through the top of the highest standing tower and saw a vast land to conquer. He saw the map and looked for some land for the taking.

Caravans from Loco's allies arrived and Foret blessed Loco with acres wherein he had problems building them. Temples stood for Foret, barracks were built, hovels and guildhalls were increased and fortresses stood strong.

Post a new age on the horizon...
War after war tore the land of Tonan. As for the part of Reavers, it is inevitable for some to have their cities taken away or razed as the outcome of wars do not always lay on their favor. Rebuilding of what was lost was what Reavers made them busy this age. Another age is approaching...an era to start with is on the horizon.

Much time had already passed as the dawn of the new age is about to come. Countless cities the Reavers have had already been rebuild. The never tiring people of the Reavers began to long for something. What could that something be is something they longed since the very start of this age.

As this era is about to close...a complete dominance of the land is avoidable or so. May it be Foret domination, Isonia or Darden...a new age will always begins. May it be the desire of the Gods and the Godesses...that and this has always been the way of the Land. The way in the land of Tonan...

Kiele stood clambered to the highest tower of his keep. There he stood beholding the construction of his new city. It had become a periodic annoyance...to be teleported by the gods to a new land periodically. So cruel, those gods are! All that he possessed were gone. All that he would possess, he would have to build and fight for all over again.

Post Overwhelmed..........
As Loco passed his plans to his city engineers, Loco took a visit some of his allies and Loco expected that after he comes back he will se some improvements. Loco made strict order that security will be tightened while he is away.

Loco came back from his visits and affar he saw his city built with its great city gates and towers. Loco was seen by his tower guards and the gates were opened and trumpets were blown upon his entrance to the city gates. Men, women and children expected Loco's return.............

Things were not going well in the swamp. The previous war had left Toad’s lands decimated, and it seemed to take so long to rebuild this time. Not only that, but those blasted leprechauns were still reaping havoc. Generally not anything destructive. . . more of an annoyance. Still, the occasional loss of money, élan and particularly time was beginning to wear on toad

Have we had any luck driving out those rodents?

No sir. They seem to have stayed well past their typical calling period. It seems the holidays which invigorate them have come and long passed, yet they still linger to annoy our sorcerers and builders.

Well, Brunt, carry on in spite of them. I will make some arrangement as possible, but we cannot linger in this weak state for long. Soon enough we must be war ready and hungry for blood. I hate these peaceful, time wasting building periods.

I know sir. We will be ready soon…before you travel

So be it. I leave on the morrow…we shall be properly defended before my departure. Carry on

Post Shieldmaiden Xamia.........
Loco did saw new changes in his city when he came back from his visit. His men had a very good morale. Merchants from other cities came for trades and other business. Loco saw that the city was fast growing and everything were going well.

What fascinated Loco was her Shieldmaiden Xamia. She got herself favored by Foret on representing Loco's city to other kingdoms.

Finally, Toad had amassed a sufficient plot of land to construct the temple, the great hall of Foret. The temple was erected with amazing speed, everyone in the land contributing to its construction in some way. Upon its completion, it was truly a spectacle to behold, with its towering columns and geed gated archways. The public areas were constructed for comfort for the thousands that would worship there each day. The inner altar contained everything requested by the priests and sorcerers to do their work and bring the spiritual to the spiritless who would come in search.

The city sprang up around the temple with equally amazing voracity. Toad often wondered whether building such a spectacle was in his best interest, and that of his people. He was never disappointed after completion, though. Despite the draw on resources for a short time, the end result was always a more production, happy content people, proud of their accomplishment and success. And in turn, a happy Toad…
