Post Meow! CAT hits DR!!
[ooc: Stats not needed, although we hit up ~600k net and ~90k avg net - same member count, not to mention inactives *coughs and clears throat* anyways... so much of a strike with 5 members. War On! /ooc] Please keep all ooc in the 3 sentences you are allowed at the top of the post. Thank you.-V.Jasmine

CAT was brutally hit by Bowl a few suns ago. That really showed Creed what he was made of after just becoming the new GM of CAT. They hit us right when we were weak. They were Darden.

Creed was bloodthirsty. War was necessary. Scouts poured in, yet nothing seen, so no whereabouts from which guild. War was now, it was a must.

DR, a Darden guild, was CAT's target. They would be judged. And so would Creed, the new GM of CAT be.

Finally...warstrike was now. Low guild attendance, be that as it may, CAT warred regardless. They were the target. We must strike, and strike hard.

Turning to the scout as he returned, a grin spreading across his lips. Demoness, it appears CaT is falling apart. Ther AGM of War reports the GM has vanished and he, himself, has left the guild to fend for itself. Shall we crush them? Break their bones and suckle the marrow from them like so much candy?

The wings shifted, one slender white brow rose. Fingers played over the hilt of her sword. Oh they could finish CaT, most likely would teach them a lesson. There was hitting with a chance, and just plain being foolish. This had been foolish. Send word to their acting GM, I will hold audience with him, or her, if they seek and end to this stupidity.

Though a moment later she turned and nodded to the drow standing in the shadows. Giving permission to see to it CaT had motivation for ceasefire.

Tanarri was quite preplexed at the organization of this attack. To his count only one member resisted....the rest seemed to have fallen apart. The lack of ferocity in this war gave him the lack to be vicious to the point in ripping through their land with no care. Sooo carefree to say the least.

But a war was a war, they chose to declare on them and so things must be seen to the end. All was going to die. Perhaps a little mercy could be shown. Such a drab.

CAT’s initial war strike had been at best half force. Mallya herself had barely been touched. CAT’s sorcerers had tried their magics upon her kingdom but very little damage had been done. The first night had been spent updating all the old reports on the CAT’s and the next spent burning the poorly built kingdoms.

Ironically enough Mallya had actually warred this night. This was an area in which Mallya free admitted her ignorance. Hers was not the way to stand in front of her enemies. She did her best work within the shroud of darkness and with the arcane powers of magic. Eisheth had been tutoring Mallya in the ways of war though, and this night her tutelage borne fruit. A few thousand acres had been taken from the largest of the CATs and while Mallya was unavoidably forced to offer up most of the land to Darden a greater purpose had been served. One of the foul Forret’s had lost some precious land. As long as the land did not aid one of the false ones Mallya cared not where it went. CAT had been broken badly and Mallya was sure that soon she would receive a ceasefire order.

The smoke smoldering in the ruins of the village carried the hint of charred flesh upon the slight breeze that wafted through the dawn air. Whetstones slid across the weapons held in a few elves hands, the camp quiet other than that. This battle was not what Narissa had expected, nor pleasing. She and her warband took no pleasure in the slaughtering of lambs thrust into a war by a cowering fool that ran and left his flock to fend for themselves.

But still, they fought. The first attack had killed many of their band and for that, there was blood that needed spilled in retribution. The dark-haired, winged elfess' wings stretched out to their full span, feathers ruffling before being drawn back in. A brief look of irritation crossed Narissa's face as the wings were drawn in tightly. *Growing too use to these damn things*

With a sour expression, the dark-haired, winged elfess strode through the camp, ducking under the flap of her tent to disappear from sight.

Kira was perplexed. She had sent messages to those listed as the GMs of DR after hearing that they would be receptive to peace. Days had gone by with no response from them. She and Demon had taken back the reins of the guild after hearing that the new GM had lost his internet connection. She believed in looking after the members of the guild and had made it her first order of business to try and contact the leadership of DR but nothing had come of it so far except for more attacks.

She had no choice now but to wonder if DR had not been entirely truthful when they said that they would be receptive to a parlay. Sighing heavily, Kira did what she must. She posted orders that she was trying to talk peace with DR but that they had not been receptive and until they did prove to be receptive her now six member guild should keep the faith and continue in their attacks.

Kira was immensely proud of the people that had stayed with CAT thus far. Though they had suffered grievious damages they still retained the spirit that had originally made the guild what it was. She knew that they would fight to the death without hesitation, just as she herself would. Still though, her heart ached at having to give the orders to keep fighting. Her people sorely needed to rest and rebuild after fighting so valiantly. She could only hope that eventually the leadership of DR would get the messages she had sent to them and speak terms of peace with her.

Days passed and still Kira heard no word from the leadership of DR. The messenger she'd sent bearing the white flag of peace had been brutally murdered and his head returned to her. But that was the only contact she'd had with that guild. Well, that and the continued attacks upon her kingdom. It seemed that DR was not going to be receptive to peace....at least not yet.

Kira sighed and wondered how much more blood would have to be spilled before the heathens' desire for slaughter would be sated? How many more heroic followers of Foret would be made to suffer? Kira swore softly and vowed that some day, her people would meet DR again on the battlefield, and that the result would be far different than it now was. Next time, she would be the one who was stubbornly aloof while the heathens were slaughtered....deaf to their cries for mercy. Muttering softly to herself, Kira turned her attention back to the scout reports which sat upon her desk and busied herself with the duties of trying to turn this war around.

The demoness stood over the remains of several of her demon army. The bodies cooling. The messenger for CaT was mauled quite badly, yet still breathed to give the message. CaT had come to them regarding an end to the war, and her army had devoured all before this one. Glaring as she eased the broken bleeding man into Sabian's arms to be tended to. Considering the request. Finally her gazed turned to the armies happily slaughtering the kingdom's of CaT, her hiss carried and brought them to a halt. Hold, for now. I go to negotiate.

There was no honor in attacking a defenseless guild. Their trusted AGM of War had betrayed them, and even Eisheth found that low and shameful. Heathen or not, war should never be a willing slaughter by a figure of trusts lack of competence.

Striding towards the tent. She would discuss these disturbing chain of events with a responsible leader of CaT and perhaps they could get back to the chore of war. On a more level and honorable playing field.

Eisheth's order to hold had reached Mallya in a timely fashion. She had just returned from yet another battle with one of CaT. Mallya was gaining some skill in the art of war and found it to be a nice change of pace but enough was enough. Mallya longed for the sanctuary of silence and darkness. Yes, the battle was fun but the arcane magics and silent creeping of asassins was burned into Mallya's veins, much like the thirst for blood that once consumed her when she wore a vapires form. Yes, Mallya still had a thirst for blood but the demonic thirst was more of a desire than a requirement for life. It was quite ironic that taking demon form was both the best and worst thing that had ever happened to Mallya. Mallya shakes her head slightly as if that could clear the memory of him from her head or heart. There was no time for that now Mallya needed to visit her squads lands and make sure that everything was in order and see if any within the Reality required Mallya's assistance.
