It was time. Time to stop and look to the future.

Where was the challenge? Gone.
Where was the desire to do battle? Missing.
Where was the feeling of euphoria over the last series of victories? MIA
What was left? A sense of weariness.

The desire to continue was gone. The desire to rest was overwhelming.

It was time to go. Time to retreat to a place of quiet contemplation.

The Giant would rampage no more for the Angels.

Time was all they needed, however time they would not have. One by one the darden strongholds had been falling to the isonian and foret onslaught. however the number of darden strongholds were countless. Ronin had jumped into the fray and wrecked some havoc, however their arrival was too late to save the day. The day belonged to the forces of darden. However this was not the end of life. There would be countless more wars of which the victor could not be presently determined. For now Squee could only pray that Ronin would be victorious.
