Armitage stood looking out her window looking out over her vast land's she had aquired from the Dardens. She was happy with how large her kingdom had become the pesant's was happy and so was her army. but as she looked out over the Valley she could help but see the Black tower off in the distance it was a pox on her land and it wasn't going to go away anytime soon.

The Tower had arrived during her grand father's rule. the tower was ruled by a lich king that has vowed to destroy the Family line of the House of Moonblade.why we do not know but he has always been here as long as Armitage could remember.

The Tower it's self was made out of black granit and the evil aura that floweed from it was just overwhelming even to her at time.s

Her Grand father had hidden Armitage away when she was only 14 year's of age and for an elf that's not very old.He had paid some inn keepers to keep her safe and foster her and bring her up right. Now she was 124 year's of age her Grand father and Father are both dead and she was summoned to return to her rightful place as ruler of her kingdom. To tell the truth she wasn't really wanting to return back to the castle as far as she was concerned the inn was her home. But no Matter she had a duty to perform and the people of her kingdom needed her and her magick's to Defeat both the heathens and the lich king...

She and her kingdom had recently joined a guild called Reaver's she knew a few of it's member's but still kept to herslef mostly. She had always hoped to keep this dark secret to herself and not have to ask for anyone's help in dealing with the lich and his minion's but today she would send a scribe to those who might want to help her in her quest to destroy the lich king..

(the letter)
Lord's and lady's of the guild Reaver's and to those trusted allies of our faith I ask you for your help today vs a great evil that has plauged my land's from century's and will not go away until my entire family line is destroyed. those of you that wish to help me in the fight against the Lich king. those that wish to help meet me at my castle in 3 day's.

makko sat in his chambers working on his daily routine.while he was in study, there was a knock on his door.it was his messenger who came to him, bringing a letter in which he was told was of great importance.he took the letter and sent his messenger back from where he came.he walked on over to his workplace and sat down.he was very courious to what was inside the letter.he carefully broke the seal with his dagger and unrolled it.it was from an elven named armitage, one who in his mind seemed to keep to herself mostly.

he started to read the letter slowly and carefully,it was very much intriging.it told of a story of a dark tower that stood tall over the lands, that could be seen from a long distance away.he had always wondered about the mystery of the tower every time he was in the area and saw it.he remembered as a child, the many stories told involving the tower, but never believed any of them.but reading the letter,he finally learned the truth about what was inside it and how one of his fellow allies was connected.in the letter Amitage spoke of returning to the place she saw as a child and take back the kingdom that was rightfully hers.

after he read the letter,he got his favorite pen and started to write:

"Armitage my friend,i have read your letter and am sorry to learn of what you have been living with for all these years, your people should not have to be enslaved by this evil tyrant called the lich king,i shall help you in any way i can to rid this evil from the kingdom in which is yours by bloodright,i shall join you on your venture to take back what is yours, and help you bring back hope to the people of your kingdom".

with that written down,he had his messenger come to his chambers.he handed his messenger the scribe and sent him off to deliver it to Armitage as soon as possible.he sat back down to ponder the thought of once again helping to remove an evil presence from the lands and closing a dark chapter in Armitages life.he then wondered who else would join on this adventure of a great importance.

It was indeed a horrible for such a girl to meet such bargain of her father. As bad as it looks LoCo came to help for an aid since Armitage joined the Reavers. A pact that LoCo cannot explain up to the time being. Only one question to LoCo that made him think..

"Why would the Lich King go after Armitage if her father's life was taken? That would seem fair enough to pay the Lich King......"

A question that LoCo had in his thoughts as Armitage talked about her problem. Anticipation on the Lich King was of no way to LoCo's abilities. LoCo had stopped his school on magic and cocentrated on fighting and combat skills. As what Armitage wrote in the scribe, the Lich King's Minions seem to have met his skills and LoCo had some charmed amulets to protect himself from curses and nightmares every night when he goes to close his eyes....

LoCo got in his horse and some spell scrolls with him and off he went to Armitage' realm. As LoCo approaches her realm, a demonic arua was felt by LoCo and his amulets glowed, a signal of great evil power resides in a place near by. His swords turns to a red blade as the blue glow starts to fade.

"What in the world is this? Too much power cannot be handled even with my Master in the magic school. This was terrible than I thought...."

LoCo mind running madly but managed to be calm as a peasant greeted him at the gates.... And so there she was, Armitage waiting for some people to help her........

The great quest for LoCo and some Reavers starts here by the time they set foot on Armitage' kingdom.............

So long it seemed that she'd held sway on the isle as the Mistress of Fides. Foret's Faithful had slipped into a deep slumber, one she hoped to awaken them from soon, when the time right. For now, the Elemental was content to roam from town to town an' take time she never had before to acquaint herself with Tonan's inhabitants. Acquaint, that was, outside of war, for that was really the only cause she'd ever had to "acquaint" herself with anyone in this realm.

Travel couldn't be more easy for her, she required none of the regular trunks of clothing an' food many others would need to survive on their own. She needed only the nutrients of the earth an' the sustance of water to sustain her. No matter where she happened to be, her faithful Droben escorts could always find her an' bring news of the latest wars an' quests, anything they felt might interest their Mistress. Now, in the midst of a quiet, moonlit night, she could hear them approach even as she slept. The sounds of the living world crept their way into her dreams in one way or another, until her mind came to consciousness once again, realizing the sounds weren't part of her dreams, but rather the distinct sound of footsteps approaching. As she lay on the ground she could feel the vibrations of the Droben's heavy walk in the distance.

A breeze caught up suddenly as the escorts neared, hundreds of rust-colored leaves billowed up on the air, twisting themselves into a funnel, the leaves pulled together, melding themselves one to another until Maenas stood to full height. The leaves that covered the surface of her form cracked an' softened into a sheath of skin, another layer softened together an' formed what looked like a simple brown cloak which she pulled about herself. The escorts finally came to rest, taking a knee before her, the captain wordlessly holding out a scroll which Maenas took with a nod an' read to herself.

Finished, she handed the scroll back to the captain who dutifully ate it as though it were nothing more than buttered bread.

I'll meet ya at the girl's western border two nights from now.

That was all she needed to say. With nods of understanding, the escorts stood, turned around an' left her in alone the clearing. She turned once to look at the spot where she'd slept, making sure she left nothing of nature disturbed. Satisfied, she started off for the young Elf's kingdom. Once beyond the small clearing, the wind began the gust again, the leaves of her skin bristled up like goosebumps would do to the hair on a human's arm. The force of the breeze became more solid against her back, pushing her forward of its own accord, pulling at her form until her form burst apart in a shower of the same rust-colored leaves sending them winding on the cool currents, her consciousness again one with nature.

Armitage stood at her window watching the sun set as well as looking out at that black tower..she had only sent the scribe's out a short time ago.but she was waiting in great anticipation to see who and how many would show. To be honest she really didnt expect anyone to show she was new to reavers and they truely owed her nothing.but she would wait and see.

Armitage's kingdom however was very busy preparing defenses and training the thousand's upon thousand's of new troop's that have been hired. The size of the army was a sight to behold.. as it trained in the main courtyard of the Keep.

She would need these new troops in the fight against the Lich king

he had prepared for days, everything he had needed to venture out to Armitages kingdom.he had hoped his letter that he had sent back had reached her.he had a portion of his army training for this very battle that would happen in the near future.he had his mighty sword sharpened and his armor prepared by the kingdom blacksmith.he and only a dozen of his best fighters would set out to her kingdom first.the rest of his army would set out a day or two later so that they could finish preparing.the horses were ready, and the men quietly set out undercover in the darkness of night.

it was a cold night, but the wind was calm and the men were suited for the weather.they headed east using the stars as their guide by night.riding through the forrest, all they could think about was how they would help Armitage get rid of the lich king and bring peace back to her kingdom.as they were riding,a light started to flicker behind them from a far.they noticed it getting closer and closer, and turned towards it.they drew their swords in anticipation of testing the recently sharpned blades.as the rider on his horse finally came into sight, they noticed it was one of his sorcerers.

"my lord,i could not help but come to help you fight this evil,i have heard of this lich king, and i know that he has many mystical powers,i have come to help you and your friends with magic of my own, please do not be angry with me".he knew that his sorcerer would be needed,as they would need all the help they could get."of course i am not angry with you,i am glad you came to join us to fight, but you know, you could of rode with the others in a couple of days".the sorcerer just nodded his head, and the men started to ride towards their destination.

as the the night slowly went by,they rode at a medium steady pace through the forrest.they were almost through out it and saw that the open fields were just a few miles away.the daylight was quickly approaching and Amitages kingdom was just across the river a half days ride away.finally as the the day was going by,they could see the outer wall of her kingdom.they had already crossed the river and were getting closer.

they had finally arrived at the front gate of her kingdom and were greeted by her gaurds.they rode into her kingdom and were tired from the long ride to get there.they were told that Armitage was up in her chambers and would meet with them shortly.untill then, they were offered food and a place to rest up until then.

Hmmmm, not really what I was hoping for...

He eyed the target 70 paces away, his arrow a wide spread from the centre, it would seem his lack of practice of late had cost him. Slowly, with deliberate care he notched another arrow, marked the target, lifted, aimed and released in one smooth and effortless motion. It was a skill acquired with an age of use, it was a fast release that was needed as a child to hit his prey quickly before they escaped. As a poor farmers son arrows were limited and he was expected to bring back one kill for every shot, misses were not tolerated, they could not be afforded and so it was that his skills were honed from necessity. Alone like this his mind wandered back to his past childhood, a carefree time he wished he could return to. A time when one didn't worry about righting their wrongs, of making their life a worthy cause or of what was to be left behind should their life be ended. All of which weighed heavily on the archer's mind these past days.

It was as he was notching his third arrow that his quiet tranquillity was interrupted. From a distance he could hear the soft thumping of a horses hooves on the soft still dew covered lands of the early morning.

M'Lord you have a message, it has arrived from the House of Moonblade. In honesty m’Lord it is addressed to your father....I have it hear.

Lord Furor retrieved the letter from his shabbily dressed messenger, actually just another farm boy he'd recruited of late. His ranks so torn and scattered from the recent fighting he had but few true warriors left. Many of the local farmers had traded in their pitchforks and spades for swords and spears. It was a pitiful army at best.

Thank you Maticulos, return to camp and I will come shortly with a reply.

He turned his back on the departing boy and found himself a seat beneath an over hanging willow tree. He eyed the seal of Moonblade with bewilderment, then opened the scibe with care.

It had been a many a fortnight since he had last heard the mentioning of the House of Moonblade. Thinking back it had only been in the last few weeks of his time at home, back....back after his father had given up his farming for a sword in the legions or Darden. He had heard the mentioning of Moonblade at their dinner table, the words spoken had been of the epic battle of good vs evil. That's right, he remembered the stories now, a black tower, evil magick, a lich king, curses on the land, a pox.....a mission to destroy the elvan house of Moonblade. It had been a formidable story. He had listened in while none knew he was about. Had it not been a story?
Had it been a truth? Not possible....

Quickly he read into the scroll.....it had been truth! And the house of Moonblade still stood, he could have sworn that the story had told of their demise at the hand of evil. But now a sole survivor was returning to claim her own! But why message his father, a follower of Darden? The scribe seal depicted the Moonblade house to be a follower of Foret.....interesting.

Quickly he rose from his seat, his house had been beckoned, his father had obviously had some ties with the Moonblade line. This Moonblade needed aid in returning her house to power and she trusted his father to be one of her closest comrades....why? There was only one way to find out....

While armitage was still looking out her window she watched as a rider and his escort's come riding in.This must be one of her allies he brought few men with him but then you never know what one man can do until you've seen them in combat for the first few time's. She smiled to herself and thought we will see who they are and what they can do.. As Armitage headed for the door she heard a knock she paused and said Enter.General Soran opened the door.

My Queen I have good news and ill news.

start with the bad news Soran

as you wish The Lich king's Force's are attacking the Fortress Ravenwing at last reports it would not hold for more than a few hour's. and as you know the Fortress is on the outskirts of your land's and many day's ride away..

Ravenwing was one of those forts we took during our war was it not?

yes

no wonder it is so weak. we left 500 men there if im not mistaken. they are on their own Soran we can do nothing for them nomatter how hard we try.But I will go there alone maybe I can give them some shred of hope..

Also my lady one of your allie's are here.

General Soran looked at armitage knowning that what ever he said wouldnt change the young elf's mind.. As you wish my lady.General Soran turned and left closing the door behind him..on his Exit Armitage cast a Teleport spell that took to righ to Ravenwing..

Soran was right the fort was not going to last long at all. while the enemy had no real cordination and the defenders was taking them out in mass number's they still vastly outnumbered the Defender's..Armitage thought to herself and smiled perhaps a Dragon or two would scatter these creature's.

Armitage begain the cast of the spell called Blood Dragon and at the end of the long casting a Blood red dragon appeared and bowed it's head. armitage pointed to it's Target's and it nodded and took to the air.The dragon's attacks was an awesome sight and scary at the same time.. the minions of the Lich king started to waver under it's intense attack's and the defender's of the fort cheered thinking they had won.but the spell was only temporary and it's effects would not last long.

Armitage once again Teleported this time to the fort. she Found the captain and ordered him to flee the fort and head for the next fort to renforce it. and to hurry the spell would not last long. he did so and the troops was out of the fort by the time the spell ended..

With a sigh Armitage cast teleport one more time to return home. but this time the spell didnt take her to her chambers as expected she ended up in the mess hall. The Blood Dragon spell she had forgotten that it uses the casters own strengh to empower it and then casting teleport 3 time's would have killed most mage's except for the strongest of them. she needed rest and badly. she would walk to her chambers this day...

The Elf was walking down one of the hallways of her golden palace when a messanger arrived and handed her a scroll case adressed to her.She nodded at the elf male and he departed without a word. She smile as she watch him walk away. She thought if only I was about 600 year's younger. She laughed out loud at the thought.

Talabrina looked down at the scroll and Noticed it was adressed to The house of Greycloak and it boar the seal of the House of Moonblade. She quickly opened the letter and begain to read it.when she was done reading the letter she quickly walked down the hallway.

The Moonblades had been longstanding friends and allies with them not to mention her 3rd sister had married a moonblade who had fallen ill and died.Talabrina stopped and thought could this liche king be the reason for his death? It didn't matter cause she would soon find out as she made her way to the courtyard. she ordered her armies to Mobalize we are going to the aid of our brother's and family...

quietly she said hold on little armitage we will arrive to aid you soon enough.

[ooc: for the character history leading up to this thread see the “rebellion” link which is still an ongoing thread, will explain references to dealing with past haunts, near death and recovering injuries]

Quickly he packed his things, always a cautious man he never let anyone near his weapons, they were the tools of his trade and he treated them better than he did himself, which was better than most. Come to think of it he spent more time caring for his blades and tending to his fletchings than he spent with his friends, he couldn’t help but grin wryfully at that. When all was done he led his two horses, his war steed and his pack horse, out to the centre of the encampment. He couldn’t help but grimace at the conditions which surrounded him, it had been a bad couple of months for his people. In fact, their current encampment was but a temporary one until they located more lands. Looking for something on which to stand and address those within hearing distance he eventually gave up and let his horse to a lone tree just off to the side.

Now don’t you be playing any funny games on me now you hear? Don’t move!

With the quick command to his horse he vaulted up into the saddle and with an agility not found among many humans he effortlessly stood atop his saddle and addressed those around. The people, more attracted by the odd sight than by their leader strode nearer...

My people, I have not been your appointed leader for long now, I came hear looking to answer questions haunting me of my past, I have come to these lands hoping to fill a void in my chest, to cut the cord that drags my heart down into the cold depths of despair and anguish for long have I know that something inside of me has been missing....has been lost. I came hear hoping to fill it but unfortunately that has not been the case. The questions that haunted my dreams when I first came hear repeat themselves with even more vividity than before. My recent injuries at the hands of rebellious heathens during the First Council of the Republic have convicted me of these concerns with more force than I though possible.

It is because of these convictions and concerns that I leave you now. A call has come for the aide of my family by some long forgotten allies. I have never met them, until this morning I never knew of their existence. But I know, that somehow in this beaconing lie the answers I am looking for, the answers I need to rest at peace with myself. I tell you this now because it grieves me to leave you as you are. I have done nothing but bring anguish and war on your heads for the past years. In running from my own daemons I have dragged you all into my own nightmare. So it is best for us to depart company now, there are allies to us to our south, they will grant you refuge should you want it. For those of you who would continue on with me the invitation is there, I depart at sunrise tomorrow from the old ruins at the outskirts of town. Meet me then if you have a desire to continue with me....

LoCo took the night at Armitage's place. He had been given a nice roon to take the night off. At the bedside, LoCo can see the black tower then the moon shines over the kingdom, moments passed then a black cloud started to descend on the kingdom as the night draws deep. Howls o the wolf can be heard as silence took over the kingdom. It made LoCo shiver then he felt an unusual feeling of coldness.

LoCo laid his head down then started to close his eyes. LoCo cant seem to sleep well and he had an uncomortable feelig that someone was watvhing him. Then came the sun and its bright light passes to the window were LoCo slept. LoCo had bad night and so he went down to the hall. Armitage and some of the men were there. LoCo greeted a good morning to Armitage as he get his food then he left to eat them somewhere.

LoCo fond a seat on beside the guardhall, then as he looked up he saw the black tower casting its shadow upon LoCo. The he started to stare on it.

Among the shadows of the forest a lone figure blended into his surroundings, a man whos appearance betrayed no age and origin. He listened to the speech presented to the people by Lord Furor. For the first time in a decade the man smiled but he hesitated to hope.

Moonblade eh? It is about time the boy began looking for answers, too long now he has been wandering the lands as a nomad. It is a gallant speech, I wonder if he means what he says. It will be a long and difficult journey to regain himself in this world, too long has the darker areas of his past been haunting him.

The observer, a shadow that followed Furor throughout his life realized it was now time to get closer, no longer could he watch from afar, he needed to be along side this man, he would join Furor at the old ruins the next morning, although he doubted if any others would.

It had been an uneventfull night and he rose with anxiousness before the sun rose. He had an eagerness upon him to leave these lands and start a new....but he waited for any that would show.

It was in the very early rising of the sun as he checked his horses over that he first glimpsed the stranger. It happened so quickly and unexpectidly that Furor had no time to be surprised. The man just mateiralized at the fire, one second he'd been alone, the next second the man was there dringking from his coffee pot.

Now this sort of thing was not normal, as a boy who hunted for his families very livelyhood he had become very adept at observing all that happened around him. Later, as a wandering mercinary, a sword for hire he had only lasted as long as he had because he could disapear at the drop of a hat. When the battle turned ugly he left, and when he left no one knew when, how or where he had gone. Rarely did anything, animal or otherwise catch him unexpectadly. This was especially true for the realm of men who moved through the woods like bumbling fools, making enough noise to let any animal know they were coming from miles away. At least he knew this man to be of a good caliber....for never had he found his equal in the woods.

He approached the man with caution, but had he wished to do harm that would have been stated allready.

Good sir I'm afraid we've never met, I am at a loss here for although you know who I am your face is strange to me, what is your name, how shall I address you?

[ooc: Furor and I are working together here on a story line so don't be alarmed if we take some liberties with each others characters, it's all pre authorized]

The man did not move in response to Furor's questions, instead he spoke from beneath his brimmed hat, his face always covered. Call me what you like m'Lord, names and titles have little meaning to me. He paused a long moment and watched from under his hat as Furor stepped cautiously around the fire. He noted with approval that Furor sat with his hand always ready for a blade and he grinned inwardly when he noted Furor's deliberate placement next to his left side. He was a very cautious man....but who could blame him, having followed this man, a man very few if any others could have kept track of these past years he had a great respect for the abilities that he possessed. Indeed he had seen this man do things with a blade and bow he did not think possible, he had a nature about him when a blade was in his hand, almost as if he was born with it, at home with the cold hard steel more so than with his fellow man. It had been a challenge keeping track of this man, but it had been a pleasure.

Abruptly he stood up, their conversation had dwindled and the sun had almost crested the horizon. Let us be gone m'Lord the day dawns on us and we have many miles to go before we reach the house of Moonblade....

The voyage to meet with Armitage had been an uneventfull one, the three companions (for now Maticulos has also joined the small party) had been a time of getting to each other better. This was good thing for the voyage had started as a rough one...

Moonblade? How did he know that name, no other eyes had seent he scribe save his. Who was this man who gave no name yet knew of the voyage in a sense that gave Furor a feeling he was the one in the dark here and not this mysterious comrad. Oh well, the best way to find answers was with a direct question...

Stranger, how do you know of the house of Moonblade, that name was never mentioned in my address to the village? Nor have any others seen the scibe that is now nothing but ashes in my camp fire. Speak now and choose your words carefully...

Finaly the stranger turned his head and revealed his face to his companion The house of Moonblade is well known to me, as is the nature of your beckoning....but do not ask me more on this subject, hold your curiosity, it is better that you hear of this from Armitage than I. For now we must depart, we cannot arrive to soon M'Lord, our aide is greatly needed.

And so the voyage has transpired with an air of mystery about it that proded Furor on to see this elf who would call on his father. He desperately wanted answers but that would come with time, a patient man he tested his limits this trip.

Armitage sat in the library of her castle here she could find just about anything she wanted to know about her family and any of it's dealing's.if their was anything her family was good at it was keeping records on the of anything and everything that they have everdone.even the misdeed's performed by her family. But the misdeed's done by her ancestor's was not what she was after this day it was the family tree.

As she looked over all the name's she found her Father's and mother's below she found her name and beside it another name Testos. So Armitage thought I seem to have a brother or half brother at anyrate thanks to my mother.Armitage's mother had been exiled from the kingdom but armitage was never told why now she knew.Armitage looked up from the book to an old elf.

Maven How long have you served the house of Moonblade?

The old elf looked at Armitage with eye's that showed great wisdom. My lady I have served the house of Moonblade for a very long time.I have seen let me count Twelve rulers to the house of Moonblade all of them living a semi long life well all except your father of course.

as maven trailed off she looked out the window and seen the sun rising. she had been up allnight long reading over the archive's of the family tree. and she still had more studying to do. only this time she would have to find out what this lich king had to do with her family.

LoCo roamed around the castle to obervse and look anything that was on Armitage's concern. LoCo found an open room vast of books. It seemed like a library, then after few walks LoCo read some books and he noticed that it was really a library, there were books everywhere and when he looked up there were more of them on the second floor. LoCo searched for books of inerest and he did saw some, he saw Books of Mages for very powerful sorcery, as well as binding sorcery, possesions, summoning of demonic beasts and all major sorcery spells that he had known only to be possesed and owned by great mages and thir bloodlines. This was much more of what LoCo expected. Then he came on the thought of the Lich King and wondered maybe the loust for power, magic and sorcery was the aim of Armitage' father but he is very unsure of such thoughts.

So LoCo searched for more books, as he was passing a a shelf, LoCo heard some conversations on a woman and a voice of an old man. LoCo took a peak but he only saw a man, who had long ears, just like elves. Then he heard about how long he had been serving the family at its was long. Ang it was, for the elves were gifted of immortaliy, they never die in old age but surely they doe in wars as their spirit goes back to nature to whom they are protecting. This things were of no LoCo's concern. So he made it out of the library with the books on his hands.

"These things might come in handy in the next following days...."

LoCo talking to himself as he exits the library and walked to his room.....

The man now known to Furor as stranger found this voyage to the lands of Moonblade to be a one of many surprises. Having shadowed this warrior for close to a generation he still did not know how he thought. He had found this man to be a warrior of untold skills, a feared enemy and a rare allie. He would fight for any reason, sometimes making a reason himself.

This stranger had though him a fiery man our of control, a man who you stayed clear of for fear of being drawn into his wars. However, it would seem he was much different from that opinion. This past trip had shown him the man who was trying to get out. Inside was a calmer, more controled man, a man who fought for what he found to allign with his beliefs and morals. This was a side of Furor he had not seen before. Was this a new development in his character or had it always been there just itching to come out.

Either way he knew of the other voice that spoke deep inside of Furor...the voice that crept into his dreams, that spured him on in battle, the voice that was always threatening to consume him during his weak points....It was because of this voice that this stranger followed Furor for years, wherever he went, with whatever he was doing. It was because of this voice that the stranger now risked exposure and why he now joined Furor's small party.

That voice would lash out soon and if it was not controlled it would destroy this man and all around him. He had needed to know, before they reached the homelands of Moonblade if that voice controled this man. Thankfully the voice was still subdued...he had seen hide nor hair of it on this voyage. It was for that reason that Furor was still alive and that the elven blade hiding in the boot of this stranger remained hidden clean of death.

Upon entering the tower the three traveling companions went each their own way. Furor went out to find Armitage, the Moonblade who had beconed him to this place. The fortress was a beautifully built one...but it did show the signs of neglect. That was too be expected for it also showed signs of war, wars of long ago but also battles of a more recent timeline. So this was thenewest of his quests, it would seem he was always at war, but then again that was where he felt most at home, when he was most in his element. Even just thinking of the days ahead got his pulse quickening and his heart pounding harder in his chest....It had been a while now since he had taken up his blade to face the heathens. Now all he had to do was find the Lady Armiage in this maze of hallways and buildings.

As he walked through the massive stone structures around him he couldn't help but feel a little joy in his heart...it had been so long since he'd seen these lands. Long ago he would walk these same roads, as a child he remembered these streets, there had been no war then, no evil linch king, no worries at all. Those were the days, if only one could return to being a child, he knew he would appreciate it more now than he ever had as a child.

Slowly he made his way to the great library, he knew what he was looking for, it would be here somewhere....ah, there it was, the lineages of the elven Moonblade family. Slowly, with almost loving care he pulled the large book from it's shelf.

That's odd, there are fresh finger prints on this book. Who would have been interested in reading of this of stuff?

Not giving it much more thought he opened the book, following the family names with his finger as he went, he flipped from one page to another, going deeper and deeper into the past of the Moonblade family....He stopped suddenly and almost in a whisper barely audible, he spoke to himself.

Yes, this is what I am looking for.....so it is true.

Talabrina and her army was only a day or so out from the Monnblade kingdom when they seen smoke rising to the east.she looked at one of the scout's and he took off to investigate whatever it was.About 20 minute's later the scout returned with news.

My lady their are demonic force's that have taken control of one of the fort's of house moonblade.their number's are many I would guess around 200,000 strong.

We dont have that many meny to take them out. we will proceed to the castle and link up with Armitage's troop's and plan from there.

Without stopping the greycloak army neared the gate's of castle MoonbladeTalabrina ordered the horn to sound annoucing them to those within the castle wall's that they had arrived in force to aid them.

It was not long before he gave up his search. These properties were vast and the servants few. The wars had deeply impacted these lands. Each passing face showed the weariness of an ageless battle. Constant preasure and stress weighed on these minds, always they were near death, always they were under attack. But perhaps this was all about to change, in the distance he had heard the approaching sound of an army, his small company had seen their sign a coupld of days ago....after all, a large company or soldiers leaves it's mark on the land. Also, among these he passed in the fortress he would occasionaly spot the different face, a polished piece of armour, another kingdoms colours. It would seem that he was not the only one beckoned to these lands. It would seem that a battle was waging on the horizon, it was time to find his place in this war. With a new determinism in his step he approached the library where one of the servants had mentioned seeing the lady Armitage. Pushing the doors wide he entered the massive room and scanned the area....

Excuse my intrusion Misstress But it would seem you have visitor's

Armitage scared half out of her wit's looked over to see Maven.Armitage thought to herself I dont need the lich king to kill me Because Maven is going to accoplish the task by scaring me to death.

Armitage stood at the Desk and bekkoned one of the young elven youth's to come to her and he came to her. go find General Soran and tell him to report to the great library immediatly. the youth nodded and took off through the library passing two men on his way out the great double door's. the youth would soon find Soran and delivery the message for him.

While waiting for both Maven and Soran to get back to the great library Armitage started looking through some of the older spell book's. these book's containd spells of the elvish high magic very dangerous and powerful magic not often used. she looked at the cover page of the book that had a symbol of a Moonblade.

That's what the Lich king was after was the the Family Elven Moonblade's.Ancient Elven swords of great power with each user that bear's these swords each one is allowed to add a power. The lich had been told he would be given these sword's upon the delivery of the Ancient spellbook's of the elvin high mage's

Armitage had taken possesion of both swords she had not yet added a power to the swords yet but she would in time.she had also taken possesion of the thirteen spellbook's.
