Angra was disappointed to find that heathens kept getting attacked, but that was only the suicidal part of his mind that wanted them to get large enough to be of great difficulty to defeat. Angra would keep his eyes on these battles, for the outcome could prove to start an undestroyable dynasty, and if there is anything he disliked, it was boredom.

It seemed the influence of Foret had spread strongly, as many more were recruited to it's faithful. Angra himself never did feel any personal attachment to the God, it was only the warriors and his leaders that kept him here. He did loathe Isonia, though, due to her sickening feminity. Her sex-crazed luring of the male warriors that filled her ranks, and all the debauchery that went on in her name. Battle goddess? Whore was more like it.

OOC: Nice hit on bundes guys... time for me to start spending all my turns screwin' ya over I think :P Lets see what 10k temples can do ~WEG~

Now it was personal. His great friend, dieBankier, was missing. One of the strongest realms within the Adepts lay in the hands of Isonai, and a heathen had DARED to try and get a spy into his lands. This time, they would pay dearly. The strongest, and one of the most respected warriors of the Isonians would fall at the hands of Foret.

Ready the temples!

It was much easier to rain the wrath of Foret down upon a heathens lands than it was to march there, so Ba'ashkai simply sat within his castle, and watched. Scouts brought back news from the heathen's lands, speaking of great death and destruction, telling how a great realm, one of great potential, now lay burning and flat.

Tomorrow, another would succumb to the same bitter end.

Not even one then?

M'Lady, not even one. If you may excuse me for asking, but I am not sure what you were expecting...

You know, sometimes I hope. Often a waste of time, I will admit, but sometimes I wonder if there may come a day when those slow Foretians will provide a spark...even just a spark of culture or intellect.

I looked at a copy of the missive I had ordered to be sent out to whatever Foretian could read. The parchment was crumpled and slightly soiled. I had been informed that the Foretian leaders had great difficulty with the message, despite it being translated and ridiculously simplified. For it wasn't merely the language that confused the best of them, but even the concept of a civilised discussion. Sometimes, one can only dream...

Keep the missive circulating among the Foretians. It will do no harm. I suppose the Adepts think themselves clever to engage the Isonian faith while the rest of their own faith are creating more and more their own filth, but the simple creatures do not realise that while they remain without an ounce of culture on the Isle, they will eventually fade away and be entirely forgotten.

Nasir believed now, profoundly. The threat had been brought to his very doorstop, and only now did he truly realise the powerhouse that was The Grand Adepts. They were swift, they were mighty, and most of all they were ruthless.

Nasir had not been fortified a day, and the great warrior Loreaneon had chosen him to be his next meal for the day. He was turned away at first, but wave after wave of peasant attack reduced Nasir's fortification's to rubble. He was a broken man. Once so proud of his vast open plains, now all he had to look upon were flattened buildings, remnants of a once glorious kingdom.

"Treachery!!!" Nasir screamed at the top of his lungs. Although he was now fully aware of the threat The Adepts posed to his faith, he still had to question their motives. How, in this day in age could such a holocaust be attempted? It was inhumane, and now that it had touched Nasir's shores the threat was more than reality, it was his worst nightmare. But a nightmare that he have to confront...

Up on the top hill of the battle field, she looked down at her army ready for her command. This was for her and only her. This was the chance to bring her name up in flame and raise up to the next level of warriorism. She raise her sword and screamed....

"CHARGE!!!! everybody head straight toward the wall and break it down immediatly" she screamed out with the top of her lungs.

A roaring thunder it seems as her army roam down and demolish the wall and ran right through. She followed up in her horse slashing and stabbing the remaining enemy troops that was strong enough to go through her army and face her. This is a long battle she can tell....

Still the war continued. Still the guilds of Isonia were being pushed down, yet still they came. All the while the brothers of the Adepts, all others within Foret, were growing. Darden was becomming stronger slowly, but the plan was coming together nicely. Even if the adepts were to fall, it would be easy for Foret to stay on top, easy for Foret do destroy all those in his path.

Laughing, Ba'ashkai ravaged another of the heathen's Realms, taking another few thousand acres, ensuring that he could fit yet more troops on his land. It was all too easy, with this heathen having a plan of trying to remain hidden, building up land and praying not to be noticed. It was only luck that let Ba'ashkai march upon the lands. Easy land to take, easy money to make.

As his troops increased, the size of his realm grew exponentially. Soon it would be so large that he would have to think about giving land back to Foret. That would come soon. For now, though, he had a bet with a fellow Adept. The first to 100,000 acres would be buying the beers as soon as the war was over. Ba'ashkai, who never bought a round, was determined to win.

Senator reread the reports, that now came in on an hourly basis, he could not believe the destruction caused by the [glow=green]Inepts[/glow]. They had destroyed countless of kingdoms and kill thousands of souls. All to please thier blood hungry god, Fagot.

Sitting back in his chair Senator could not help but wonder how a small group of individuals take on the full might of Isonia and live to gloat about it. No this was not just a war between [glow=green]The Grand Inepts[/glow] and Isonia, no this was much bigger.........it is a war between the gods.

The Adepts had marched. And they had proven to be quite adept indeed. Having few realms, but a combined strength greater then that of all the Isonians, they had crushed their opponents in the first strike. But the weight of numbers would press down on them. One by one they would fall. The Isonians were hurling themselves to the Adepts selflessly, while the Adepts themselves were merely trying to gain even more lands and stay alive. Fallen Adepts were running for shelter in other guilds. But survival was not granted to them. They were hunted wherever they fled, and killed. Those who had fallen could not get up. But those standing were indeed tough nuts to crack.......

The sorceress had not been paying much attention to the affairs of the isle at large, no there were other matters to attend to, ones within the red desert that troubled her far more than knowing which guild fought which. Politics and its associated trouble was hardly important, the cess-pit that they formed was better off avoided at all costs. The Dardenites of the red desert had turned their interests towards their own faith, more interested in matters of their own belief than what the misguided followers of Isonia or Foret were getting up to. And the Sidhe was more than happy to let their thoughts turn that way, it kept their minds off her, off the strange fae woman who acted as advisor to Silus. Better that they prayed for the souls of the returning Empire than wondered why she was acting so strangely.

But eventually the mass of messages and rumours that were piling up grew too much to ignore, too great to just hope that they would go away. Of course she had been aware that the Adepts had gone to war and that it had somehow involved Isonians. To the sorceress's mind that seemed perfect, if she was really lucky both sides would wipe the other out. There was little that Lyssia hated more than the followers of the Grey God and the Battlemaiden. She had seen and suffered too much at the hands of Their followers, if it were within her power she would have gladly wiped them all from the face of the isle. It would certainly have made life a great deal simpler.

She sat down to read the missives that had been gathered by the Voralphian tribe, not really expecting to find anything of great interest, just tales of another war, another senseless slaughter. Oh certainly one side or the other woud try and dress up their reasons for war, citing some minor infraction or percieved slight in the past. But really it always just boiled down to one thing, greed, they wanted land, somehow thought that expanding their borders would solve all their problems. Always the battle for lands, for gold, for some confirmation that they were worth more than they thought of themselves. The sorceress shrugged, they really never understood did they? Didn't matter really, she had long ago lost hope for most of those who walked the lands.

The Adepts, yes I remember reading something of them, a war that they had with those of the Sanctum. They were brave back then, challenging themselves to strike out at a far larger guild. Though as I recall they did little to dent those under the orange banners, but they tried and earned themselves respect for the attempt. She picked up the nearest scroll, expecting surely to find another case of the war that they had once fought against Maledict and his followers. But the words upon the page made her frown, murmuring, Surely this cannot be right? No this couldn't be right, surely the Voralphian were mistaken, perhaps they had been given false information, what they spoke of could not be happening.

Or could it?

Lyssia shook her head within the crude chamber, putting down the parchment and pressing her hand against her mouth, frowning in thought. If this is true...this cannot be the same souls that so bravely fought the Officium so long ago, they would not make such a mistake as this one? To do this? To earn the emnity of an entire faith? They have declared against an entire faith, all far smaller than them, some who were already engaged in battle and for what? What glory was there in such a battle? What honour was there to be found in this? None. Only those who battled against such foes would find glory and honour, of course such words had apparently become meaningless to some in recent ages. What they have done lays them open to similar attack in times to come, do they not see that? Never again will those of Isonia have to worry about attacking the Adepts 'fairly', she shook her head once more, unsure that the Foretians had truly thought their plan through. Or did they think perhaps that luck would always favour them? Very foolish indeed if that was true...what was build by the hands of mortal men and women could just as easily be destroyed by the passage of time. Realms came and went, built and yet sometimes dying just as quickly. The only things that were eternal were dignity, honour, reputation and of course the tales, always the tales. How would history view the actions of the Adepts in times to come?

They had attacked an entire weakened faith because they were bored? Because they could not amuse or divert themselves in any other way? Could they really not have considered some other course of action? had an entire guild been unable to think of anything better? An entire guild? When she could think of several alternatives without even blinking an eye? What had happened to the Foretian faith?

There again what had happened to the isle that she loved so dearly in recent ages? When had people become so convinced that those extra few acres, those extra few coins would solve everything? Of course there had always been those who would act so but when had an entire faith turned to that cause? When had an entire faith laid aside their prayer to Foret and knelt in its entirity at the altar of greed? She frowned, knowing that there were even at that moment, those who she would consider 'friend' amongst those who carried the grey banner. Friends who had been led astray, whose thoughts were so polluted by the greed about them that they no longer cared. What had changed those good souls? What had so altered those who cared into the creatures that they now were?

But she didn't have the answers, she didn't even have a cure that could turn them back into the people that they had once been. Not even all her power could dis-spell the hold of greed upon their souls. There was nothing that she could do expect that hope that one day those souls would throw off the lies that they were telling themselves to justify what they were doing. Throw off the veil of lies, it is the only hope. There again perhaps hope for this isle died entirely many ages ago and those of us who live now are merely witnessing the death-throes.

His determination comes from silence. As they say, action speaks louder than words, yes...this is what he was been doing these past days.

As this war rages on...more and more bloodsheds shook the once again devided land of Tonan. It has always been this way. Determination, betrayals, honor were just mere things. The force to win is what counts when a land like this, waiting to be dominated, is devided among three.

As the battle continues, it is inevitable to lose casualties among each side. No matter what the outcome of this...surely a war like this is something not to be forgotten. May it be honorable or not, this war has been something worthwhile. In this land of Tonan, a battle such as this will be entombed in everyone's heart. New generation will be the judge, as ages always comes and go. As for now...each one's will to win, the determination to win is what really counts for this age to go on. A war such as this, is what this land hungered for...yes, this what make this land accomodating.
