The Forums

Just a couple rough ideas.

Community Admins - These are the folks who run the site and forums. Someone else can flesh out what the heck we do, I don't know anymore. I would venture to say this rank combines all aspects of the other two ranks, and then some.

Currently that consists of Kaz/Oli, Gili/James, Teanos/Brian.

Community Moderators - These are the folks who moderate the day to day goings on of the community forums.
Duty's include helping posters who may encounter errors with the forums, answering questions, the moderation of all the community forums. Editing posts which may break the rules, removing spam posts which may break the rules, and temporarily assigning a posting ban to users who are in violation of the rules. Posting bans will be reviewed by an Admin. Community Moderators have no additional authority in the game.

Game Admins - These are the folks who perform certain functions within the game and may have access to portions of the game that are not playable/viewable by all registered users. The duty's of the Game Admin may range from answering bug report/information request emails, to accepting Guild Applications, to handing out Turn Awards or making other kingdom/account modifications as assigned. Game Admins may or may not also be Community Moderators or Community Administrators.

Sounds logical. What about the identities of the mods? Public, or hidden?

Its all looking good! been too busy to look to much at it, will make my profile etc. later. Some of the themes are good too

As for admin.. i think some admin should be hidden, some shouldnt. REALLY i think it comes down to if the player base increases. For now, i dont see a reason for hidden admin names, but later, it would make sense because people could think those of us who know each other are getting preferential treatment.

Ok, I have removed any options from the vote that didn't make it to 3 votes. That leaves four remaining options for the theme.

Dark Grunge (5)
Dark Fantasy (3)
Hestia (3)
Melankolia (6)

You should be able to vote again. Please pick 3 like before.

Sorry about TwilightBB owly, but it received either 0 or 1 vote when up against all the current test themes. The more themes we have, the more work we need to do with regards to any mods we add (eg the account switch) and board upgrades.

i know i know

i kept skipping around to see what i liked best. i was using DVGFX mostly but i like the Dark Fantasy i just got to get more use to it. I always liked the black boards but out of the list now i like Dark Fantasy the most.

Dont worry dude, the polls are to help decide which ones to work on... we'll obviously be thinking along the lines of having at least one light theme.

Cool. I still say Polyethylene is the best of the light themes - plus it has a dark gray background for you goths here.
