They've been playing the original episodes of V on tv. I haven't bothered watching though.

I remember watching the original when I was very young and loving it....something about somebody's human face getting scratched off and revealing a green reptile skin underneath. I think the same guy that was in the Beastmaster movie was in it.

I'd heard somewhere that they planned to unveil the new show by skywriting a big red V over the skies of several major cities but cancelled the idea b/c something about the environmental pollution it would cause...

Just finished watching the Pilot Episode. It was good. Kinda disappointed that it was only a 1 hour premier though.

First off, yay for Alan Tudyk of Firefly(Wash) for being a Reptile! WOOO!

Second, the Juliette chick from Lost is better in this show.

Third, where is Jayne? He needs to be part of the resistance.

FINALLY got to see it. i liked It. the new ships are far more sensible, interior wise. It took them 3 and a half years to get here. they would go mad in sterile corridoor, so inner cities made sense.
the concept of human tissue works better then the rubber masks in the orig.
don't like the kid thou. daniel, the kid turned traitor on the orig was more belevible. this kid just seems like a horny brat.
really liked the they been here a while concept. makes lots of sense, they would plant their own in advance.
thought it was funny as hell they all but said bush was a V
all in all, i liked it. really loved anna's speech was excatually like john's in the original. a nice nod to the orig.
looking forward to seeing some troopers
